Cutesy Skull and Crossbones

I have confession to make – I think pirates are the coolest thing ever (and yes, I did believe this before Johnny Depp brought the world Captain Jack Sparrow…although I’m certainly not complaining that he did).  In the whole pirates vs. ninjas debates, I always pick the pirates (but I do agree with Threadless that pirates and ninjas are both way cooler than cowboys).  This love of pirates caused me to jump for joy when I found out about a cutesy skull and crossbones ATC swap taking place on Swap Bot.  ATC stands for Artist Trading Card, a 2.5 x 3.5″ piece of art that you can then trade with your fellow artists (I may rapidly become obsessed with them given how much fun I had creating this piece).  I wanted to add some dimension to this card, so I made my first foray into the use of dimensional magic (I now understand why everyone is obsessed with this stuff, even if it takes forever to dry and I had to keep body blocking Tyler from testing whether it was dry by sticking his finger on it).  I wanted to share the final product with all of you before I shipped it off to its lucky recipient.
