I had to dig into the photo archives for this week’s photo challenge. Spring in the Yukon looks a lot like winter except full of puddles as everything begins to melt. Instead of giving you all pictures of snow surrounded by muddy puddles, I decided I’d pull out a photo that captures how spring makes me feel. As the days get longer (the sun isn’t setting until past 9 pm now), the sun starts to dominate the skies, and the snow starts to melt, I feel like jumping for joy. I thought this picture from a field school I helped teach in New Zealand a few years ago captured that feeling perfectly. Here’s to spring!
