Morgan, a young women from Whitehorse has been working very hard in Haiti over the last year helping them rebuild. In the next few days she will return to the country to set up a transitional safe house, where – in about a week from now – she’ll be responsible for caring and healing 120 children who have been severely neglected and abused. This safe house is enabling them to be rescued. Tonight she is holding a silent auction to raise funds for this safe house, and I’ve given her a set of my original artwork to help her with her work (see above). If you live in Whitehorse, please consider coming out to support Morgan and her ambitious plans tonight. If you aren’t in Whitehorse, please consider supporting Haiti this holiday season through groups like the Red Cross.
