When I started the Craft Project part of it was a dream to one day become a “real artist”. Even though I’ve now had a couple of solo shows; am a member of Yukon Artists@Work; and have had my work recognized I’ve always found it difficult to really call myself a professional artist. But today I took a big step and finally feel like I’ve become a “real artist” with the launch of my business Raven Mad Designs.
I now have the ability to print glicee prints in-house which means that I can present the majority of my work in print form at an affordable price. And for this week only (until November 12) the prints are going to be just a tiny bit more affordable for those of you who read my blog – to celebrate this big step that I’m taking.
Simply use the coupon code PRINTLAUNCH between now and November 12th and get 10% off your order from Raven Mad Designs on Etsy – just my little way of saying thank you to all of you for sticking with me through thick and thin to make it to this point.
I also have a favour to ask. On November 25th I’m embarking on my first craft show – the Cranberry Fair, a juried show which takes place every holiday season in Whitehorse. I’ll have original artwork, prints, and cards. I won’t be able to create a large stock of every piece of artwork I have, so I need to prioritize which prints I bring to the fair. I would love it if you would check out the Etsy site and let me know which prints you think I should stock for Cranberry Fair in the comments section of this post (my plan is to print a catalogue of the prints I don’t stock at the fair in case someone is looking for one of the pieces you as a group haven’t recommended). I thank you in advance.
