Sci-Fi Double Feature

Dinosaur-puppets

Brian Fidler, of Ramshackle Theatre, is busy preparing for the re-mount of his show the Sci-Fi Double Feature at the Yukon Arts Centre in March.  I’ve been helping him prep for the show, building and painting puppets and set pieces.  In fact I spent most of yesterday in his studio dancing around to top 40 dance music in the sunshine while painting aliens (it’s a tough job, but someone has to do it).

Slime-O-Trons

If you get a chance you should see the show when it comes out (March 8 and 9).  It will involve two puppet shows (Attack of the Slime-O-Trons and Last Day on Earth) and a stop motion animation, Meanwhile Backstage, which I got the privilege of helping create last year.  He’s also hosting a kid’s puppet workshop which should be amazing.
