Yukon’s First Comic-Con

Manga-Demo

This past weekend Whitehorse hosted its first Comic-Con.  The Yukon Comic Culture Society brought the event together and they did a great job (and I know they are already scheming for next year’s installment).  I spent the weekend hanging out in Artist’s Alley with a bunch of comic, fantasy and sci-fi artists from across the country.  It was really inspiring and gave me a bunch of new ideas that I now need to start developing – I’ll keep you posted as they progress.  It also gave me the chance to host an artist’s demo/workshop on manga with a bunch of up-and-coming young artists.  They did a simply fabulous job.
