Over the course of the last week I was the visual artist for Arts in the Park. I lucked out with getting one of the nicest, sunniest weeks of their programming this summer so far. I spent large chunks of the lunch hour demo slots teaching piles of kids to paint, but I still found a enough time to complete a piece over the five days as well. It, along with my Celebration of Swans poster piece, are forming the beginning of a new series I plan to create embedding wildlife into the landscape to reference the the inseparable bond between the two. The process of creating this piece allowed my imagination the space to start scheming the next few pieces in this series, so I guess it’s now time to get to work.
