Each year Swan Haven, on Marsh Lake (about 40 minutes outside of Whitehorse), plays host to thousands of swans for several weeks in the spring. This location sees open water significantly earlier than the surrounding landscape and provides the swans with a safe haven as they wait for winter to recede.
